These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Ryde Scooters LLC (“Ryde,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our websites, mobile applications, vehicles, and any related features, communications, or services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Ryde may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

1. Use of Services

Ryde grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Services or attempt to interfere with their operation.

2. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by Ryde or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

3. Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names associated with Ryde are the property of Ryde or its partners. You may not use them without prior written permission.

4. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify Ryde immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

SMS Communications

By creating an account and providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Ryde for identity verification and essential account-related communications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP. Ryde does not send marketing messages via SMS and does not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use Ryde scooters responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

• Performing tricks such as wheelies

• Drifting or intentional skidding

• Riding with more than one person

• Harassing or endangering others

Violations may result in ride termination, account suspension, fees, or permanent removal from the platform.

6. User Submissions

If you submit content (such as feedback or comments), you grant Ryde a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Ryde does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryde shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

9. Modifications and Termination

Ryde reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
